Ethiopia – Gamoji DECAF


Inhabitants of the Nekemte mountains in western Ethiopia have been cultivating coffee for more than 1,000 years. The old-growth forest of the Gamoji region provides its native coffee trees with their ideal habitat and optimum shade. Thus, the local farmers produce very high quality coffee without using chemicals.

Gamoji coffee – known as the “moka long berry” – is famous for its distinctly long shape, mocha flavour, and pleasant aromatic profile. Decaffeination with super-cooled CO2 leaves the coffee’s other chemical structures and aromas in tact while removing the caffeine naturally and organically.
